Related to ILS 12C#1 (Stage B): Constructing and testing simple electric circuits with batteries.

Class chart which serves as a Pre-unit assessment (KWL)

To what extent do students understand the concept of a closed circuit and the parts of a circuit? (These ideas may or may not be brought up on the KWL. The teacher may want to probe by asking students how electrical appliances work. Students' responses should provide information as to their current conceptions about the flow of electricity.)
